Children's Hospital
Children’s has been caring for sick and injured children and adolescents for more than 110 years. There has been a vast amount of change since Children’s first year when 70 patients were treated by a six-member staff and seven other employees. Today, Children’s is the primary pediatric health care provider for 37 counties, with more than 800 medical staff members and 4,500 employees who provide expert care to children regardless of ability to pay. We operate the country's third busiest pediatric Emergency Department. Children's has more than 650 volunteers. And we house the nation's first facility to integrate child abuse services.
