Sumiglass panels are a safety-certified laminated glass product found throughout the world, where they are used in doors and windows, side lights, room partitions, office dividers, shower doors, skylights or glass handrails.

Sumiglass panels offer virtually unlimited design flexibility. They are available in a choice of 30 standard options, including 10 Patterns, the Frost and Rice Paper series, and the Fiber series, a fully textured range of bold, contemporary solid colors.

In addition, Sumiglass welcomes inquiries regarding custom fabrication using customer-specified papers, fabrics or images printed on clear film.
Each piece of Sumiglass is individually fabricated to customer specifications in Sumiglass' midwestern manufacturing facility. Using specialized equipment and a unique laminating process proprietary to Sumiglass, a central layer consisting of film, paper or fabric is placed between double layers of glass and adhesive, then bonded to create a single pane which captures the specific pattern, color and texture of the central layer. Clear, tinted or coated annealed glass can be used. Heat strengthened or tempered glass is also available.

Sumiglass can be fabricated in circles, triangles, trapezoids, or in unique, client-supplied patterns. Laminated glass with a clean-cut edge is standard. Swiped (seamed), flat-ground and polished edges are available.
