LUCE' (pronounced loo-chay), which means "light" in Italian, is a Casual Cafe and full-service Wine bar. We offer fast casual service and also full-service dining. Luce is a spacious yet cozy and intimate restaurant which is divided by a large stone fireplace that opens up on both sides so that a mamimum number of our tables are fire-side. We have an open kitchen and a brick-oven pizza bar with an optional menu that places an emphasis on pizzas, flatbreads, salads, starters, paninis and pastas. On our full menu, our eggplant parmesian has been called the "best in the city" by many of those who have sampled it. At the wine-bar (a major emphasis of the restaurant), the atmosphere is more casual, with sofas, soft lighting and a lenghty marble bar. The menu features a tapas menu, (or smaller plates). The wine bar also features a Cruvinet system and 32 wines by the glass. Manager and wine steward Dave McMahon developed the wine list, culling several selections that are exclusive to Luce. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner six days a week, (we are closed Sunday).
