The school was founded in 1975 as a true Preschool offering educational classes for young children.

Our goal is to provide an exceptional, relaxed learning environment that will foster the social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of young children.

Our curriculum has been fine tuned for over 30 years to provide learning experiences, developmentally correct for each age group. Monthly themes are enriched by: hands on science; classroom cooking; special events (puppeteers, magician, clown, etc.,) and field trips for the 4-5 Prek & Young 5 students

The Philosophy of our school is to work with the needs of the whole child. This includes their physical, emotional, social, mental growth and development. This is done in an atmosphere of exploration and discovery. Children are respected and are helped to gain a positive self-image.

Infant and Toddler Program - To meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of each infant and toddler in a professional and nurturing manner.


Preschool Program - To provide an educational program using specific topics in a relaxed nurturing atmosphere.

School-aged Program - To provide enrichment activities and materials in an environment the meets the needs of children before and after a structured day of school; to help school-agers handle and express their feelings in an appropriate way.

Stepping Stones Learning Center is a ministry outreach of the Worthington Seventh-day Adventist Church (385 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Worthington, OH 43085). The reason we are here is because we are passionate about kids. The teachers, administrative staff, and board members believe in the special role this center has— bringing quality, Christian education and care to all children who attend here. We desire to meet the needs of the whole child, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. To that end, we strive to ensure that all elements of our program, from our curriculum, to our activities, to the general atmosphere of our facility will challenge children academically, inspire creativity, nurture relationships, and be Christ-centered.
