Tan Pro USA opened it's doors in April 1998, starting with a 30 bed mega store in Mansfield Ohio. The concept was simple; build large clean facilities, offer no appointment tanning, outfit the store with state of the art equipment, and use a comprehensive innovative marketing plan. The store was one of the first truly mega stores located in the State of Ohio and was used regularly by equipment manufacturers to showcase the future of indoor tanning.
