GM Choi has ensured that the collection has been displayed at several events, staffed by students who eagerly explain its journey and significance. The collection has more than 5,000 pieces and is recognized as one of the largest in the world.

Our Mission is to expose the public to the enhanced world of Black Art by providing the availability of access to the best art the world has to offer. The range and type of art we represent is as wide as any gallery in the country. Originals, limited editions, posters, batiks, papyrus, and many other art forms are sold in the gallery. We also feature collectibles from Miss Martha's "All God's Children ",Thomas Blackshear's Ebony Visions and Brenda Joysmith Collectibles, as well as figurines by Annie Lee, Sandy Dolls and more.

As Gertrude Stein remarked, the Columbus Museum of Art houses an outstanding collection of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century American and European modern art. This collection includes major works by Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir, Hopper and O'Keeffe and other spectacular examples of Impressionism, German Expressionism, and Cubism. Also recognized for extraordinary regional collections, the Museum boasts the largest public collection of woodcarvings by Columbus folk artist Elijah Pierce as well as the world's largest repository of paintings and lithographs by Columbus native George Bellows, who is widely regarded as the finest American artist of his generation. In 2001 in a watershed event in the growth of the Museum's holdings in photography, a significant collection entitled The Photo League was acquired, which consists of 170 photographs by 69 artists including Berenice Abbott, W. Eugene Smith and Weegee.

A sense of place kept the Kelton family in their grand Victorian townhouse for nearly 125 years. That attachment laid the foundation for a museum that features an extraordinary continuity of documents and furnishings associated with one Columbus family and their graceful, engaging way of life.

Sherrie Riley Hawk opened her first gallery in 1986, in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio. The Riley Hawk Gallery became one of the nation's premier galleries specializing in glass art and sculpture.

In 2004, Sherrie opened a new gallery committed to exhibiting contemporary ceramics and art jewelry. We have since expanded our scope to include regional contemporary art and sculpture.

The mission of the gallery is to connect the collector to what the artist is expressing, while educating each other in the process and enjoying the pleasure art brings us.

As the oldest continuously operated and artist owned gallery in Columbus, Studios on High continues to be a destination point for art and fine-craft connoisseurs.
